Thank you for shopping with Own The Adventure (“OTA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If you are not entirely happy with your order, we’re here to help.
1. General Refund Guidelines

All returns must be requested via e-mail within 14 days of receiving your order. Any requests for refunds or exchanges outside of this period will not be processed.

Products must be returned in their original condition, unworn, unwashed, and with all tags still attached. Returns that do not meet these conditions will be rejected.

For hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns on swimsuits or personal items that have been worn, used, or washed.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow up to 14 working days for your refund to be processed after we receive the returned item.

We reserve the right to refuse a refund if items are returned in a damaged or unsellable condition.
2. Swimsuits, Hoodies, Towels and Bottles

Swimsuits: Due to hygiene standards, swimsuits can only be returned if they are unworn, unwashed, and still have their tags intact. The swimsuit must not show any signs of wear, including but not limited to deodorant marks, makeup stains, or any use in water.

Hoodies & Towels: Hoodies & Towels must be in their original condition. If you are returning either a hoodie or towel, ensure it has not been worn, washed, or altered in any way.

Bottles: Bottles are eligible for return only if they are unopened and unused. If the product is defective or damaged upon receipt, we will replace it or offer a full refund.
3. How to Return an Item

Contact our Customer Service team at info@owntheadventure.co.uk within 14 days of receiving your item to request a return authorisation.

Provide your order number and reason for return.

Once your return is authorised, we will provide you with a return address.

Please ensure that the item is securely packaged to avoid any damage during transit. We recommend using a tracked shipping method, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged return parcels.
4. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like to exchange an item, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order for the replacement.
5. Defective or Damaged Products

If you receive a defective or damaged product, please contact us immediately. We will arrange for a replacement or issue a full refund, including the return shipping costs. We require photographic evidence of the damage to process your claim.
6. Non-Refundable Items

Sale or promotional items, gift cards, and personalised items are non-refundable.

Items that have been worn, used, or altered in any way will not be accepted for return.
7. Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in cases where the product is defective or damaged upon receipt.

If you are entitled to a refund, the original shipping charges will not be refunded.
